Config number of clipboard history items that are displayed per page

When you open Clipdiary you see the newest items of clipboard history. There are 50 clips per page by default. To see the previous 50 clips you should go to the previous page (click navigation buttons '<' at the bottom of clipboard history viewer window).

Users often ask how to change number of clips that are displayed per page. There is no such option in GUI but you can do the following:

  1. Close Clipdiary
  2. Open config file - C:\Documents and Settings\User name\ApplicationData\Clipdiary\clipdiary.cfg in any text editor
  3. Find "[Options]"
  4. Write "CountClipAtPage=40" on the next line. 40 is number of clips that are displayed per page. If you want 30 or 10, write "CountClipAtPage=30" or "CountClipAtPage=10".
You should get something like
[Options]
CountClipAtPage=40

Then start Clipdiary and make sure that you see as many clips per page, as you want.

So you can change a number of clips to avoid the need to use the vertical scrollbar in Clipdiary main window.
Now that is the only way to config number of clipboard history items that are displayed per page. We suppose to add this option to GUI in the next versions.

Starting with version 2.8 you can config number of clipboard history items per page in the program options.

  1. Thanks, this is useful information and feature. I really prefer 20 items per page (I hate use the scroll bar). But hidden option is not good way, manual editing of config file is terrible :)
